Jesus wins

Hi kids!

Has it ever happened to you that you really tried hard not to sin and your efforts served for nothing because your instincts took over your reason and God’s voice within you? The Good News is that we are not alone and Jesus is constantly empowering us in our fight against evil. Jesus triumphed over evil.

The prayer space we are going to do today and with those who share our same household is called: Jesus Wins and to do it we need:-

• 2 paper cups covered in foil or wrapped in a silver or golden wrapping paper
• glue
• 2 pipe cleaners
• a piece of paper with the words:  ‘Jesus Wins Over Evil’

Start by sticking the two paper cups covered in foil or wrapping paper bottom to bottom and place them at a side.

Now take some time to think of one sin  (such as: lies, greed, jealousy etc ) which you do every time you let the evil spirit control your thoughts and actions. On the piece of paper write the words:  ‘Jesus Wins Over Evil’ and stick it onto the bottom cup which is faced down.

Stick the two pipe cleaners on either side of the cup on top to form the handles of the winning trophy.  

Pray God to strengthen your Faith in believing that He triumphs over all evil and we can become more like Him.
