Hi kids!
How many people did you meet yesterday and today? Do you remember? All of us make contact with different people in our live. There are those persons with whom we relate continually, there are those whom we do not know, and there are also those persons whom we do not really enjoy their presence. God created us to be together. In our lives we need to connect with others, to have a talk, to play, to pray, to go for a walk and even to eat together.
Today’s Prayer Space is All Brothers and Sisters. And to help us understand this more, we need:
Jesus is our eldest brother who connects us with each other. Jesus is like the tree stem who connects us with each other and we are the leaves in the branches united with each other – with him and with all those whom we relate with. Let us create this tree whereas everyone uses his own imagination. One can follow these steps:
i. On the white paper draw a stem or form one the way you like to and on it write Jesus.
ii. Attach the stem in a place you come across frequently.
iii. Then on the green coloured papers draw the form of your hands for a number of times and scissor them.
iv. On the strip of paper write All Brothers and Sisters and stick it on the tree.
Write your name on the first hand template and attach it on the stem. On the other hand templates, you will write, everyday, the names of the persons you met or made contact with. While attaching the names of the people you connected with on the stem to continue to form the tree, think of them and spare a small prayer. This gesture shall reminds us that we are all brothers and sisters and everyone is important.
