Light in the dark

Prayer Spaces at Home and a Prayer of gratitude for guiding light

When we celebrate feasts, we generally decorate our homes and streets with beautiful, colourful lights. Light show us colours and the path to our feet. How do you feel when there is a power cut? There are children and adults who are visually impaired and use Braile alphabet to communicate.

  • Look at the Braille alphabet on the yellow handout and think about those who are visually impaired.
  •  On the green handout there is a hidden message in Braille. Under each Braille letter, write the letter of our alphabet to find out the hidden message.
  • In a quiet moment read this message and talk with God about what you thought and felt during this activity.

How to use this space

God speaks to us in many ways, including through prayer at home. Here you will find useful background and activities to better understand how to pray, helping you to connect with God in your daily life in a meaningful way.
