Jesus the light of the world

We read

John 8, 12 

When Jesus spoke again to the people, he said, “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.”

We pray

Dear God, thank you for sending Jesus whose light shines in our lives bringing us hope, love, joy, and peace. Help me to shine Jesus’ light on othersespecially during lent. Amen 

We live

Jesus wants us to be light for others too. How can we be this light?  

We are light for others when we make good choices, in this way we will be of a good example to others. Today we give good examples to others. (help them, share our things, say good things to them and about them, be friends with them)
