Eternal spirals

Prayer Spaces at Home and a Prayer for my loved ones in heaven

If you visit a Megalithic Temple in Malta, you will notice that the most common engraving is the spiral. Spirals make us think of life’s journey from birth to death and beyond to eternal life. When we lose someone, we feel pain and sorrow but we never stop loving that person. This is because we believe that our soul never dies and will live forever with God and with the people we love.

This prayer space is called Eternal Spirals.

You will need:

  • Photographs of loved ones who have died (optional)
  • paper, colouring pencils, paints or the spiral template
  • Battery powered candles
  • Plastic spiral wire binding (optional)
