We read

John 11, 25-26 

Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die; and whoever lives by believing in me will never die. Do you believe this?”

We pray

Dear God, we are happy because Jesus rose from the dead and lives forever. He told us that if we believe in Him, we too will have everlasting life with Him in heaven. This truly is something to be happy about. Amen 

We live

Jesus says that he is “resurrection and life.” We know that Jesus rose from the dead, and he promised us that we too will one day rise from the dead and live with him for ever in heaven. That is such great news! 

However, Jesus wants us to live a good and healthy life even here on earth.  

Today we fast from eating sweets which are not healthy and remember to put the money we would have spent on sweets in the jar for charity.
