Prayer Spaces at Home and a Prayer for peace

Hi Kids!

In the second Sunday of Advent, we shall be gathering again near the Advent wreath we created last week to light up the second candle. While doing so we shall be thinking about peace. The second candle represents peace.

While lighting up the candle let us think about ways how we can be channels of peace everywhere we are – at home, at school and with our friends.

Let us light up the second candle

  • Is there anyone whom at this moment I am not at peace with him/her? Or do I know someone who are not in harmony at the time being? Think about these persons and spare a small prayer for them.
  • On the dove template or draw a dove, and on it write an example of how you can be a channel of peace to others.
  • Hang the dove in a prominent place to remind you to be a channel of peace wherever you are.
