My name

Prayer Spaces at Home and a Prayer for positive thinking

Hello kids!

Have you ever asked your parents or tried searching what your name means?

On the 12th September we celebrate the Blessed Name of Mary.

The name of Mary means beloved. Mary was chosen for an important mission – that of giving birth to the son of God, and that is why she was beloved and chosen by God.

Today’s Prayer Space is called My name and we will need a black paper and colours.

On the side of the paper, write your name vertically. Look at your name and reflect on yourself. After that, think of each letter and try to come up with a positive adjective that describes you with that same letter.

If you get stuck, ask your family and friends, as they notice positive things in you that you never noticed.

Decorate the paper with colours and stickers and put it somewhere where you see it every day.

Gather your thoughts and pray in thanks to God for all the beautiful characteristics you have.

Bye bye friends!

Until we meet again!
