You have reached your destination

The Holy Family are in a house now, Joseph working again and Jesus is one year old. Three kings which we refer to as magi came from a long journey to meet Jesus and give him presents.

Like these wise men we too are on a journey until we meet our King. On the journey of our lives we have highs and lows, times of faith and times of doubt.  

Like them we have a dream calling us forward to meet Jesus, our dream is our star. Just like they got distracted by king Herold we too can get distracted by the worldly values. 

The prayer space we are going to do today (with those who share our same household) is called: You Have Reached Your Destination and to do it we need:-

• A piece of playdough
• Baby Jesus figure as those used for cribs or a baby Jesus template or picture.

Start by taking time to quiet your minds and to immagine the 3 kings on their way to find Jesus nowadays using a GPS. 

If they had to come to my home-my heart, to my life and my choices, during my playtime and my school time do they find Jesus? Will their GPS sound ‘You Have Reached Your Destination’?

Take a piece of playdough and form a 3D heart to represent your heart.

Place the baby Jesus crib figurine or the baby Jesus template/picture in the middle of this heart. 

Take some time to think how you are going to show the three kings and everyone else that Jesus is in your heart, in your mind and in your life. Ask God to help others find Jesus in you, in all that you say or do.
