Day 24

One day away, and we are adding: the Virgin Mary

Think about it:

The Virgin Mary was always by Jesus’ side. She was with him in happy moments, like the wedding at Cana and she remained with him during his suffering, especially during the most gruesome hour of his death upon the cross.

Family time:

It is Christmas Eve. Who knows how many preparations are going on for tomorrow’s lunch! At this time think about a lonely neighbour or relative, who will be spending Christmas alone. Because of the COVID restrictions, you cannot invite this person to your home, however, you could share some of the special food you are preparing.

Prayer:

Use Mary’s words to pray, say the Magnificat, Luke 1, 46-55

Let’s do it!

One can only guess the amount of time, Mary spent looking at Jesus. Go in front of Jesus in the manger and look at him. Let him look back at you. Speak with him and tell him your thoughts.
