Everlasting Taste

Prayer Spaces at Home and a Prayer for kindness

When someone passes us some nice comments or shows us appreciation. for something we have done, we naturally feel happy. We feel happy because those who make this beautiful gesture with us, behave well with us in a gentle way, and show us respect. Have you ever met someone in your life who has shown you respect and support for what you are and your abilities? That means that person is humble. Humble means being a person who is always willing to learn, at peace with himself/herself, shows respect to others, and knows how to be happy and to support others in suffering.

Today’s Prayer Space is called: Everlasting Taste

Equipment needed for it:

  • A quiet corner
  • Some sweets
  • An image of a sweet, one can draw one, or use the template attached
  • Popsicle

Think of a kind-hearted person who left a good taste in your life. Thank God for this person and that you have met him/her in your life. While eating a sweet, write a sweet message to someone whom you want to show respect to him/her as others did to you. MotherTeresa says: “Kind words can be short and easy to speak, but their echoes are truly endless.” Stick the sweet to the popsicle and place it somewhere where anyone can catch a glimpse of it. This is how you’ll be delivering your kind message and handing out a good taste to anyone who reads it.
