Prayer Spaces at Home and a Prayer for good news

Hi Kids!

Everyone enjoys receiving good news, like getting a good mark in an exam, or that we’re about to start attending a new school, that there’s a newborn in the family, or maybe when we learn about a new game. We will be reluctant to share this good news with others, especially with our relatives and loved ones who rejoice with us.

This was the Virgin Mary’s act when she got the news that her cousin Elizabeth was expecting a child too. When Mary arrived at Elizabeth’s house after a long journey, they were really happy to see each other, and congratulated each other for the new lives they were carrying in both of their wombs – Jesus and Saint John.

Today’s prayer space is called: A Hasty Message

Equipment needed:

  • a speech bubble template
  • a pen or a pencil
  • crayons or markers
  • scissors

Think about the last good news or message you received. With whom would you like to share it?

Scissor the template to form a card.

On the front part of the template write the name of the person to whom you would like to send the Good news. Inside the card write or draw this good news.

Bye bye friends!

Until we meet again.
