Refugee backpack

Hi Kids,

A refugee is someone who has been forced to leave his house and cannot return to his country safely because of danger. Usually, refugees run away from their countries due to wars, hunger and lack of security. During 2022 millions of refugees from countries all over the world such as Yemen, Urkraine, Afghanistan, Nigeria and Syria became refugees. Imagine you had to leave home forever; what would you take with you?

This prayer space is called Refugee Backpack.

• Take a glance at some of the things refugees usually take with them when they leave their country.  
• Choose three of these things, and on the backpack template write down the things you chose and why.
• At the back of the same template write a message of hope to a refugee.
