Sharp ear

Prayer Spaces at Home and a Prayer to be a better listener

Do you remember listening to a message of a renowned personality that struck you and you kept on thinking about it? And maybe you forwarded the message to others. Or when you discussed a problem with someone and accepted the advice he gave you?

When one knows to be silent, he can listen and thus strengthen his elements of being attentive, of his presence and of understanding that it is for his own good that sometimes he feels uncomfortable. Hearing is one of the senses that involves the process of listening and a gift from God.

Today’s prayer space is called: Sharp ear

One needs:

  • a piece of cloth to cover one’s eyes
  • an ear template
  • pencil or pen
  • crayons

Find a quiet corner (at home, in a garden or maybe on the roof). Sit down a cover your eyes with the cloth. Spend a few moments listening to sounds that surrounds you.

Then take off the cloth and on the ear template write the sounds you’ve heard ex. A bird singing, a car passing by, a baby crying.

Write the message you think God is sending you through these sounds at the bottom of the template.

For example if you have heard a printer printing – Use paper in a proper way to take care of trees.

Bye bye friends! Until we meet again 🙂
