Tidings of Joy

Prayer Spaces at Home and a Prayer for joy

Hi Kids!

It is the third Sunday of Advent. This Sunday is known as “Joyful Sunday”. Today we light up the pink candle in the wreath to cheer up a bit the darkness of the purple colour and which signifies penance. Today we are invited to rejoice because the birth of Jesus is close-at-hand.

Let’s light up the pink candle together

Today we shall be thinking about anything that makes us happy.

  • Draw a balloon or if you want you can use the balloon template, attach a ribbon to it and on it write names of people and places that make you happy.
  • Thank God for these people and places that make you feel happy.
  • Hang the balloon in a place where you come across it frequently.

Now let’s sing together:

Rejoice in the Lord Always

Bye bye kids! Till we meet again.
