True love

Prayer Spaces at Home and a Prayer for love

Hi Kids!

On the fourth Sunday of Advent we shall be gathering again around the wreath to light up the candle that represents love. Christmas is a celebration of the greatest love that God showed to the world when He sent Jesus Christ among us.

And so this is the last Sunday to prepare and to open our hearts in order to remember and to celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ.

Let us light up the candle

Love is an action and not something that one feels. We can share this love with everyone, even with those whom we don’t know.

  • Think about a pleasant action you received.
  • How did you feel?
  • Where your feelings helpful and encouraging to be more kind with others?

Draw heart and on it write:

Come Lord Jesus and be born in my heart.”

  • Then take three strips of paper,  yellow, blue and green.
  • On the yellow one write about a pleasant action you received, on the blue one
  • write your feelings when receiving this action, and on the green one write in what ways you can be of help to others even through little things.
  • Connect the strips of paper with the heart using glue or a stapler. Put the heart and your thoughts next to Baby Jesus’ manger at home or at school.

Let’s sing together: L O V E, Love

Bye bye kids! Till we meet again
